Those Obama actions are within the overt political realm.
But in another area, equally political though not thought of as such, Obama has not only lied but set up multiple charades to disguise what he is doing - something considerably more dangerous to this country than the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and a direct threat to the lives of all American children.
Obama has been arranging for the complete domination of genetically engineered food in farming and American food.
Obama is doing so against a background of these stark facts:
1. In the tens years since the introduction of Monsanto's GE-corn in 1996, there has been a "coincidental" epidemic rise in diabetes of 90% overall and more than 2.7 million adolescents are at risk of developing type II diabetes This dovetails with studies showing organ failure in test animals forced to eat GE-corn. (Sterility is also linked to GE-corn.)
Pediatrician Jane Lynch of the Texas Diabetes Institute refers to the "very scary, very alarming" epidemic of type 2 diabetes in children, and suggests
Type 2 diabetes, traditionally referred to as adult-onset diabetes, has been linked to overweight and obese adults, but until recently was unknown in children.
"We're going to see reports like this in the next 10 years over and over and over again because of the way we've changed our lifestyle," said Dr. Irl Hirsch, an endocrinologist and UW professor of medicine. "If you looked at diabetes camps 20 years ago, you would never see a child with type 2 diabetes." ...
Diabetes can be a debilitating and deadly disease, with complications including blindness, heart disease and kidney failure.
" ... the nationwide trend toward more high-fat food and less high-activity play has run smack into a genetic predisposition for diabetes in some communities, especially those with large Latino populations ... "We have close to 300 children we follow with type 2 diabetes," some as young as 7, Lynch says. "When I trained in the early '90s, it was essentially unheard of."
Lynch may be unaware that the first genetic engineering of food in human history began in the mid-90s, radically altering in one of the most basic foods in the US diet, corn. While Clarence Thomas, previously a Monsanto lawyer, ruled that GMOs were the same as normal organisms, rats (geese, deer and other animals) have begged to differ and will not eat GE-corn, nor will farm animals if left any other food source.
In speaking of the genetics of Latinos, she misses that this dramatically and genetically altered corn is a central food for Latinos. In addition, high fructose corn syrup, already associated with obesity and diabetes, began to be made from genetically engineered corn, itself linked to diabetes, after the mid 1990s.
And those pushing HFCS (the corn refiners and Monsanto?) suggest that something other than HFCS is responsible for the rise in obesity and diabetes.
In any case, now that HFCS sales are declining and Monsanto can no longer depend on "its" corn as the dominant sweetener (increasingly in everything), it wants to genetically engineer sugar beets (that is, to patent and "own" sugar beets).
2. With GE-soy, a study out of Russian is showing complete sterility by the third generation of animals and hair growing in their mouths.
3. Studies show that the pesticides accompanying genetically engineered seeds cause birth defects, still births, cancers, and more (and the pesticide run-off from those crops lead to birth defects, mutations, and death in animals).
Obama has used Michelle Obama in PR stunt after PR stunt to give the impression that his administration is interested in organic farming and in healthier food for obviously increasingly sick American children. But as Michelle Obama planted her much ballyhooed organic garden, Obama was appointing Monsanto executives or cronies to every governmental position possible over food and farming - the USDA, the FDA, the USAID, and trade positions. As Michelle Obama has been touring the country pushing the Farm to School program as an ostensible help in getting safer farm food to our children, the reality is that the program is not only a corporate-commodity program that will not accomplish what it "sounds" like, but that Obama is working relentlessly and slyly to force genetically engineered farming onto farmers or to get rid of farmers altogether.
Here is how sly Obama has been in trying to insert genetically engineered crops, getting the EPA to threaten financial penalties and fines on traditional farmers if they don't go along.
In addition, the FDA under Monsanto is attempting to create an unconstitutional legal standard that would deny parents the right to choose the food they believe is best for their children and asserts that children (or adults) have no fundamental right to their bodily or physical health or that Americans have a right to contract freely (including to get the food they wish).
Obama and the FDA under Monsanto are attempting to ban the labeling of all GMOs worldwide, which would ensure people cannot know what seeds they are planting or what food they are buying, but also would mean scientists would not be allowed to refer to GMOs in the results of any studies on them, and that doctors could not know what is in vaccines they give to children (or others).
Obama favors the food safety bills in Congress which were designed by Monsanto, and would be run by Monsanto with Michael Taylor as "the Administrator." One of the bills, HR 875, expected to be folded into the main one, includes a civil and criminal penalty section that leaves one stunned by the extremity of it. it would set up Monsanto to rule over every person in the country (the bills cover all who "hold" food) with unlimited (and unspecified "remedies") and with no judicial review. As Shawn Buckley describes a similar corporate attack in Canada, it is the end of the rule of law.
S 510 is the corporations "food bailout," equally corrupt, equally massive and robbing, but far more dangerous because as the Cree saying goes,
Only when the last tree has died,
and the last river poisoned,
will we realize that we cannot eat money.
Obama has lied about his position on the single most important thing affecting our children's health - the food they eat - while doing all in his power to introduce food that has been shown to cause organ damage, sterility, birth defects, still births and cancers in animals, and is linked to diabetes.
Our children are sicker than any generation of children in human history. And genetically engineered food is new in human history.
"... a quarter of all U.S. kids with insurance are taking at least one drug, and 30 percent of kids between 10 and 19 years old are already on meds for chronic conditions. ...
"Overall, kids are the fastest-growing demographic for the drug companies, with sales rising four times faster than in the overall general population. We've got the sickest, fattest kids in history ....
"Just look at diabetes. You might remember how we used to call type 2 diabetes "adult-onset diabetes." There's a reason that term has fallen out of favor — and you can see it right there in Medco's report, which finds that the number of kids on meds for the condition has risen by 150 percent since 2001. ....
"There's also been a 147 percent leap in heartburn meds and PPIs, a 50 percent increase in cholesterol meds, and a 24 percent rise in blood pressure drugs — all in children. And I haven't even touched on the huge leaps in everything from antipsychotics to asthma meds.
"Even Medco's boss calls the increase "shocking," and this is from a man who sells those drugs for a living.
But what's really shocking is that kids are on these meds at all — because every single one of those diseases and conditions can be fixed through lifestyle changes, starting with a better diet.
But it is exactly diet that Obama is destroying, while his FDA under Monsanto's Taylor is doing all it can to prevent the release of nutritional studies.
Obama claimed he would bring transparency to government. This has proved a lie. The country knows he is blocking political information but the public is only now realizing he is trying to remove freedom of speech itself around science (nutrition and GMOs), both needed for human survival.
Obama, well funded by the pharmaceutical industry, appears to be operating by the Laws of Pharma, in which "... the maintenance and expansion of diseases is a precondition for the financial growth of this industry."
"... prevention and root cause treatment of diseases decrease long-term profitability; therefore, they are avoided or even obstructed by this industry.
"... The eradication of diseases now considered as potential drug markets will destroy billions of investment dollars and eventually will eliminate this entire industry.Obama and the FDA under Monsanto has been:
"Vitamins and other effective natural health therapies that optimize cellular metabolism threaten the pharmaceutical "business with disease" because they target the cellular cause of today's most common diseases - and these natural substances cannot be patented.
(1) Withholding life-saving health information from millions of people. ....
(2) Discrediting natural health therapies ... through global PR campaigns organized by the Pharma-Cartel that spread lies about the alleged side effects of natural substances – molecules that have been used by Nature for millennia.
(3) Banning by law the dissemination of information about natural health therapies. To that end, the pharmaceutical industry has placed its lobbyists in key political positions in key markets and leading drug export nations.
Obama, working on behalf of Monsanto and with heavy funding from the drugs companies, is promoting the sickness and sterility of America's children (and adults) through toxic food while working to put safe food out of reach.
An entire country is being poisoned by multiple means, by their own president.
This effort to eliminate normal, non-genetically engineered food and eliminate access to food people trust as safe for themselves and their children, moves food from an arena of health to one of political power over a population and control over the country's entire food supply.
This exceeds in threat the recognized political issues of torture or rendition because this threat to food applies to millions and is about life and death, however more slow in its effects. Substitute the idea of a president arranging the forced exposure of an entire population to low level radiation - which also cause sickness, sterility, and cancers over time - to realize how ultimately deadly and thus how politically significant Obama's threat to food.
Those who have not considered food a political issue but tended to relegate it to a health issue might read about the Kissinger Plan in which control of food is seen as the means of taking political control of countries, without an army.
Obama's one-time supporters have begun to recognize that they voted in a man who has lied to them on every political issue that mattered to them. But they have not yet fully recognized the political implications of what he is doing to food.
That may be Obama's largest lie of all.
While putting Michelle Obama through one deceitful "act" after another to imply interest in organic and healthy farm food and in American children's well-being ,Obama is literally poisoning the American people and its children through forcing genetically engineering food on them unlabeled, forcing GE-seeds and pesticides on farmers, attempting to remove all rights to seek normal food, and at a time when diet is killing our children, to remove freedom of speech to publish nutritional information.
Through S 510, a "food safety" bill, Obama is doing much more.
He is providing the corporations with a far bigger "steal" than the multinationals which outsourced US jobs under NAFTA and international bankers who savaged our economy. S 510 offers total control of the US. It does so through giving power over what everyone needs to survive - food - to the corporations.
This means truly incalculable profits in the hands of any corporations.
At the front end, agribusiness makes a fortune on mandated products (GMOs, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, etc.). At the back end, the pharmaceutical and medical industry is already reaping profits from the ongoing degrading of food and sickening of our whole population and that would only increase. Agribusiness, the biotech, food and the pharmaceutical industry are all behind this bill, waiting for a gift so large, only madmen could dream of it.
For the bill would allow them to shut off access to all food, creating shortages at will, to wrench profits from frightened, even starving people.
Control of all food means the population's desperation for health and its very life would obviate the need for any more marketing and end all complaints about the dangers from food. People would be literally begging for any food at all and for drugs, and would pay any price. The corporations could use this as well to bring down governments.
The bailout and wrecking of the world economy would look miniscule by comparison.
But S 510 offers one thing even worse. It provides for a corporate court over all people in the US, run by Monsanto, minus all judicial review. That is, Monsanto would be in control of the country's people and their assets, to do with as they wish.
Obama has constructed the big lie.
Monsanto is at the heart of it.
Our freedom and our children's lives are the intended victims.
